COVID 19 status update as of 05 Jan 2021

This report contains the latest information pertaining to COVID 19 in Sri Lanka. The following are key developments.

1. By following bio-bubble methodology first batch of international tourists have arrived Sri Lanka in December 2020
2. The Government of Sri Lanka is looking forward to open the airports for commercial flights by end of Jan 2021.
3. Appropriate vaccine approved by WHO shall be expected in the country within first quarter of this year.
