e-consenting Tool for Future studies

With the spread of COVID-19 in the world, the demand for digital health tools have increased and e-consenting tools have become a key component in medical research. E-consenting tools provide a digital platform with interactive tools to obtain the informed consent from study subjects.

e-consenting process requires the investigators to provide sufficient information about the study to the study participant to covey a good understanding about the study to the participant. The participants are also given the opportunity to ask questions about the trail, risks, and benefits of the trial. The signed documents are shared on email.

Due to the health guidelines in place with the enhanced spread of COVID-19 in Sri Lanka, RemediumOne has implemented an e-consenting tool powered by Consolix to carry out the informed consent process.
