First Sri Lankan ACRP (Association for Clinical Research Professionals, USA) certified CRA from RemediumOne

RemediumOne is proud to announce that the country’s first ACRP (Association of Clinical Research Professionals, USA) certified CRA is from RemediumOne. Ms. Poornima Ellawala is a BSc Biotechnology graduate from the Monash University, Malaysia and has been with RemediumOne since 2015. She has participated in many clinical trials in the capacity of CRC initially and later as a CRA, with experience in monitoring neurology trials. Poornima trained for the certification exam for a period of one year and took the exam in August 2020. The training comprised of all aspects of GCP including Declaration of Helsinki, Good Clinical Practices,  general considerations for clinical trials, statistical principals, definitions and standards of expedited reporting, clinical trials in pediatrics, geriatric clinical trials, therapeutic considerations and research ethics. We wish Poornima the best in her career as a CRA.
